I add a lot of my sketches to Facebook, Instagram and Twitter but thought I’d add a few of my favourites here. Depending on how popular they are I often use social media as a testing ground to decide which sketches to turn in to full designs.
Find me on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for more up-to-date updates.
Here is some artwork I created inspired by the Studio Ghibli movie Spirited away. No Face is the most tragic character, can’t help but feel sorry for the lonely spirit. After originally sketching the artwork with pen I scanned and digitally coloured it using Photoshop.
I was originally going to have him surrounded by Studio Ghibli style food but thought this style looks better as an art print. I like the way it’s turned out and it’s proven quite popular online and at comic conventions.

Welcome to the new Ride a Wave Design website!
We’ve given the website a complete makeover giving it that lovely ‘new car smell’. With the success of our comic con stall we have updated and expanded the shop section of our website. The site is now a lot slicker, more streamlined, more efficient, more UX friendly and every other web design keyword we can think of.
We’re quite happy with the new look, hopefully it works better on mobile devices too. Drop us a line if you have any thoughts on the new site!
Hi, I’ve started an Instagram account where I’ll add new illustrations, cartoons and designs! If you like my work, give it a follow by clicking below.
Below are some examples of recent Children’s Book Illustrations I have created based on famous children’s stories and nursery rhymes. If you like my illustration style and think it would be suited for your project more information about the services I offer can be found on my services page.
Jack and the Beanstalk
Little Red Riding Hood
This is a comic I created when I was incredibly depressed working in a horrible office environment. I learnt how to detach my mind from my body to get me through the day.
Here’s a few sketches I have recently done in my spare time. Follow my Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for more up-to-date updates.
I’ve added a pet portrait section to my website selling pet portraits made in my cartoon style. You can find them here, if you don’t see your breed of dog or particular pet you can get in touch and I’ll create a personalised pet portrait for you.
These pet cartoons make great gifts for any animal lover out there.
I have designed these cute cartoon food pin badges which are selling really well on my market stall. They make a cheap gift which bring a smile to childrens and adults alike. They’re also available in my online store in packs of five: View Here
